Briley Venti helped stop the La Verne men's soccer team's two-game skid with a monster game in a 3-1 win over Occidental on Oct. 8.
He opened the scoring in the eighth minute when he finished off a sharp pass from Justin Funes and his second goal came in the 27th minute to give the Leopards a 2-0 lead.
