LA VERNE – Three members of the University of La Verne men's water polo team were named to the Academic All-SCIAC team, the conference office announced on Wednesday.

Senior utility player Daniel Hargis, junior utility player Jonathon Jarvis and junior attacker Christopher Peterson were all honored for their work in the classroom.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.40 cumulative grade point average at his/her current institution, must have completed one full calendar year at his/her current institution, and must have reached sophomore athletic eligibility. In the case of transfers, graduate students, and two-year college graduates, the student-athlete must have completed one full calendar year at the nominating institution.
