NEW ORLEANS — The University of La Verne men's cross country team has entered the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) West Region rankings the organization announced.
The Leopards enter the rankings at number 10. This is the first time the La Verne men's squad has been ranked regionally since 2015.
The ranking comes on the heels of the Leopards' first-place finish at the Redlands Invitational where Michael Sahagun led La Verne with a third-place individual finsh. La Verne is back on the course tomorrow, September 17 when they travel south for the University of San Diego Invite at Mission Bay Park at 5:30 p.m.
