CLAREMONT, CA — The University of La Verne women's cross country team took tenth on Saturday at the Pomona-Pitzer Invite.
Janelle Baseskens made her return to the course and led the Leopards in a field of over 100 runners, finishing with a time of 24:36.4.
Andrea Camacho added a time of 25:37.6 and Rebecca Lee posted a picture of 26:50.9.
Alexia Alvarez (28:51.3) and Sydne Ruiz (32:12.5) rounded out the race for the Leopards.
La Verne next races across the country when the team travels to Connecticut College Invitational on October 16.
