INDIO, Calif. — The University of La Verne women's golf team closed out the two-day Bulldog Classic at Indian Springs Springs Golf Club.

Kirsten Contreras led the way for the Leopards shooting a 172. After opening with a 90, she improved by eight strokes on day two shooting an 82.

Morgan Malloy followed next with a 184 carding a 90 in round one and 94 in round two.

Alexi Gonzalez closed out the tournament shooting a 195. 

Next Round: The Leopards compete next at SCIAC No. 2 on April 7 at Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena.
