Leopards Finish AT The Top Of Various Events

Claremont, California - The University of La Verne women's track and field team competed in the SCIAC Multi-Dual #2 at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps this past weekend, having a very successful day on the track. Competing in various events, the Leopards performed at a high level, having many top-ten finishes, including top one through three finishes. The women's 100 meter hurdles race would see three leopards finish in the top ten as Mira Juncaj finished third, Jazzlyn Johnson finished fifth and Vera Juncaj finished sixth. The women's high jump had two Leopards finish in the top five as Mira Juncaj finished tied for first with 1.55 m and Ha'ani Untalan finished fourth jumping 1.50m. Devin Soreeman finished fifth in the women's pole vault with ascore of 2.60m. Ha'ani Untalan (4.72m) ad Mira Juncaj (4.56m) would each finish third place and fifth place in the women's long jump. On the day the women finished with Dual Meet Scores of 39.00 and 25.00

The Leopards will next be competing at Whittier College, April 7th in a SCIAC matchup.
