MARSHALL, TX - The University of La Verne Leopard Baseball team faced the Tigers of East Texas Baptist University today in game 1 of the NCAA Super Regionals.
The 2nd and 4th innings were dominated by the Tiger bats, with the scoreboard reading 6-0 EBTU at the 7th inning stretch.
Miguel España had the lone RBI of the game for the Leopards in the 7th with a shot to center field that brought home Matthew Diaz. The Tigers later scored three more in the 7th, and the game ended with ETBU taking the win, 9-1.
First pitch of game 2 of the NCAA Super Regionals will occur at 11a CDT (9a PDT) tomorrow, May 27th.
