LA VERNE, CA - - 5th year Gerald Terry and Sophomore Logan Reese of the Leopard men's baseball team captured both SCIAC Athlete of the Week Awards for baseball this week, the conference office announced today.
Reese contacted in all three games on the series, batting 6-10 (.600) and scoring 2 runs while notching 4 RBI's and a double.
As the SCIAC wins (8) and strikeouts (91) leader, Terry's 8.1 inning showing on Saturday showcased a 1.08 ERA, stiking out 9 batters and walking only one.
La Verne will be back in action this weekend taking on Chapman University on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Ben Hines Field. First pitch will be at 3 PM.
