The University of La Verne men's tennis team matched up against
the Tigers from Occidental College, but lost in an 8-1 decision
Saturday afternoon at the Claremont Club.
Senior Adrian Laygo continues to be a bright spot for La Verne as
he was able to take care of Mike Kuhn in a 6-3, 6-4 finish.
La Verne will face Caltech in Pasadena next Saturday for the final
SCIAC competition of the year before the Leopards host the
conference championships at Redlands University. Doubles will kick
off the match at 9:30am.
