Garrett Hansen and Andres Pulgarin tied for the best mark in the pole vault with clearances of 4.26m (13-11.75) but Hansen got the win by virtue of clearing it first. The marks were personal records for both vaulters.

Joshua Francis and Joseph Azucena each notched a win on the track. Francis won the 400m in a time of 49.31 seconds to edge out Occidental's Gabriel Barrett-Jackson (49.79) and Azucena took the 400m hurdles at a personal best time of 57.39.

The difference against Occidental was the distance events (800m, 1500m, 5000m, 3000m steeplechase) where the Tigers swept the Leopards.

The Leopards are back in action this Friday at Oxy Distance Carnival Spring Break Classic.
