LOS ANGELES — The University of La Verne's swimming and diving teams were back in action on Day 2 of the La Verne Collegiate Winter Invite Saturday at East Los Angeles College. 

On back-to-back nights, the Leopards were led by an amazing performance from Asher Kocalis who notched a Top-15 placement in the Men's 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 52.62 - tying him for 12th place. 

Senior Jonathan Olvera also had an impressive performance, placing 16th for the Leopards in the Men's 400 Yard IM. 

Raymond Thai garnered a Top-20 finish with a 16th place time of 1:03.75 in the Men's 100 Yard Breaststroke. 

In the Men's 100 Yard Backstroke, Brandon Pham finished with a time of 1:01.89.

Kocalis, Olvera, Thai, and Pham led the Leopards to a 15th place finish in the Men's 200 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 1:41.73. 

The Leopards finished 13th in the Men's 800 Yard Freestyle Relay led by Kocalis, Thai, Olvera, and Jaden Mendoza. 

Alondra Camacho, Emma Vu, Cara Musashi, and Sam Szok led the Leopards in the Women's 200 Yard Medley Relay and finished with a time of 2:04.22.
