LA VERNE — The La Verne Swimming & Diving team took on Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and Cal Lutheran, Saturday, Jan. 29 at Las Flores Park. 

The Leos had a couple outstanding performances across the day.

Alondra Camacho finished third in the 100 yard women's backstroke. A field that saw seven swimmers — Camacho finished less than one second behind the first place winner.

Around the pool, Asher Kocalis finished in the top five of the men's 200 yard freestyle out of 11 swimmers in the field.

The Leopards will host their senior day meet next Saturday, Feb. 5, against Caltech at Las Flores Park.
