Kelsi Robinson was named the SCIAC Volleyball Athlete of the Year and a total of six Leopards (Tiffany Mancuso, Cassie Thompson, Delaney Lynch, Marisa Rojo, Kristen Sanchez) were selected to All-SCIAC teams; La Verne's coaching staff was named the Coaching Staff of the Year

• The All-SCIAC middle blockers will have to get going for La Verne; in the win over the Athenas on Oct. 18, Robinson and Thompson combined for 34 kills at a .363 clip; in the loss on Sept. 23, the duo was limited to 13 kills on .170 hitting

• The Leopards are ranked sixth in the nation in hitting percentage at .265; they've been even better in SCIAC play, converting at a rate of .274

• La Verne is making its third straight SCIAC Postseason Tournament appearance

• The Leopards are 14-1 in their last 15 matches with the only loss coming to No. 2 Cal Lutheran on Oct. 25

• Shelbi Stein put away a total of 34 kills on .347 hitting in two matches against La Verne this season

• The Athenas opened the season with an 18-match winning streak before La Verne handed them their first loss of the season
