LA VERNE, Calif. — Sarah Jefferis of the University of La Verne women's water polo team has been named a 2015 Association of Collegiate Water Coaches All-Academic honoree.

Jefferis garnered an "Outstanding" distinction for posting a GPA between 4.00 and 3.71.  The graduated senior received the All-Academic award all four years at La Verne and earned the "Outstanding" accolades the last three years. She won "Superior" honors as a freshman in 2012 with a GPA between 3.70 and 3.41.

Jefferis was a crucial piece for the 2015 La Verne team that notched five wins en route to its highest finish in conference standings (5th) in recent memory.
