The University of La Verne men's and women's cross country teams will run at the SCIAC Cross Country Championships this Saturday at Prado Park in Chino Hills.
Matthew Salas and Samuel Johnny will look to pace the men's team Saturday morning. Salas led the way for La Verne in the SCIAC Multi-Duals earlier this year with a time of 27:42.27. Johnny finished second for the men with a time of 28:59.31.
On the women's side, Melissa Cerrillos will look to pace the Leopards after finishing 17th overall at the SCIAC Multi-Duals with a time of 22:59.71 in the 6K.
