NEW ORLEANS, La. — The University of La Verne women's cross country team was recognized by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as an NCAA Division III All-Academic team.

For a team to be considered for the honor, it must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Meet, while having a minimum team GPA of 3.10.

Overall, there were 388 teams honored by the USTFCCCA. Of those teams, 221 of them were women's programs and 167 of them were men's.
