LA VERNE, CA — Arturo Herrera-Caballero has earned SCIAC Football Specialist of the Week the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced. This is the second week in a row that the Leopards' punter picks up the honor.
The Corona native was only called on twice in the game but came through in big ways each time. His first time out he booted a 42 kick that landed inside Willamette's 20-yard line.
His second time out, the sophomore tucked the ball and ran for 25 yards for a first down. The fourth-down conversion allowed the Leopards to run out the clock and secure a 43-33 win.
