LA VERNE, CA — Tristan Polakowski has been named the SCIAC Men's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced Monday.

Polakowski was outstanding in his 2019 debut. The keeper played all 90 minutes and grabbed three saves to help shutout the Sea Beggars in the Leopards' 5-0 win over Providence Christian.

The Leopards started their 2019 campaign 2-0 with a 4-2 win over San Diego Christian to go along with their victory over the Sea Beggars.

The Leopards continue nonconference play on Wednesday when they host the St. Katherine Firebirds on Wednesday, September 4, at 4 p.m.
