Reid, who has been part of numerous Team USA Track and Field staffs for the senior team, joins the junior squad for the first time and will serve as jumps and multis coach for the men's team.
"It's always an honor to be selected to join a national team staff," said Reid. "This is the biggest meet of the summer for USATF. I'm anticipating having a more hands-on presence than with some of the senior national teams, and I'm looking forward to working with some of the top young athletes in the country."
The IAAF World U20 Championships have been conducted every two years since 1986 and features some of the best athletes from around the globe.
The Team USATF staff for the U20 Championships was selected by USATF's Men's and Women's Track & Field Executive Committees and approved by USATF's Board of Directors.
Team USATF has won 21 medals at each of the last two IAAF U20 Championships, in 2014 and 2016, to dominate the medal tables.

Randall to SCIAC Field Athlete of the Year honors, is one of the most respected multi-events coach in the nation.
