NEW ORLEANS — The University of La Verne men's and women's track and field teams have been named USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams the United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association announced.

The USTFCCCA named 150 men's programs and 209 women's programs as All-Academic teams.

The squads earned the distinction for posting cumulative team GPAs above 3.1.

Due to the cancelation of the spring season, the USTFCCCA only used rankings from the indoor season for individual honors this year, which requires a top-50 national ranking.

The Leopards had a strong indoor season and got off to a hot start in the spring before the season was abruptly shortened.
