In contrast to the previous season, this year's championship will be conducted entirely in one day rather than the standard two-day competition. The Leopards last competed in March of last year at SCIAC No. 1.

Track events begin at 9 a.m. and field events start at 10 a.m. The last field event is slated to begin at 4 p.m. while the final track event is scheduled for 5:55 p.m.

Plenty of new faces will be on display for the Leopards on Friday. Twenty underclassmen including 13 freshmen make up the La Verne men's and women's teams. Guillermo De La Rosa is the lone senior on the squads.

Scoring

The meet will be scored 5-3-2-1 for all individual events. Relay events will be scored 5-3-2-0. All individual entries shall have the ability to score in the competition. Only one relay per institution shall score. All track events will be run as a timed final. Nine athletes will advance to the finals in all field events.

A limited number of preregistered family members will be able to attend Friday's meet but it is not open to the general public.
