La Verne, CA - The University of LA Verne hosted the University of Redlands and The Master's University at Las Flores Park for an early November swimming and dive meet. The Leopards, back at home, had a tremendous turnout as this was the second meet of the season to take place in La Verne.

The Leopards competed in twenty-six events, placing in the top five finishers in thirteen of the events. Leopard Kira Degelsmith finished in first place in the first two events of the day. Degelsmith finished first in the women's 1-meter diving and the women's 3-meter diving. Leopard Asher Kocalis finished second in the men's 200-yard freestyle in a field of nine swimmers. Kocalis also finished third in the men's 500-yard freestyle.

La Verne will be back at home next week November 12th against Whittier. The meet starts at 10:30 am.
