Greenwood, IN - The University of La Verne Swim And Dive teams had two individuals recognized by the College Sports Communicators for their academic excellence in the classroom.

Senior diver Kira Degelsmith and junior swimmer Emma Vu were named to the 2022-23 Academic All-District All-America Team. Vu is a Business Administration major and Degelsmith is a Psychology major.

The 2022‐23 Academic All‐District® Women's Swimming & Diving Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All‐America® program separately recognizes women's swimming and diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
