Another Relay Top Performance at the SCIAC Champs

Los Angeles, CA - The University of La Verne Swimming and Diving team is stronger than ever at the SCIAC Championship, as the third day finals held remarkable performances by the Leopards.

Asher Kocalis, one of the team's top performers, secured first place in the consolation heat of the Men's 200 Yard Freestyle, finishing with an impressive 1:42.20.

The Women's 400 Yard Medley A-team Relay, comprising Maddie Grove, Emma Vu, Cassie Grinstead, and Gracie Tessitore, competed in the championship finals and placed 9th overall in the conference. Similar to yesterday, with three freshmen on the team, the Leopards are set to make a mark on the leaderboard for the next three years.

Meanwhile, the Men's 400 Yard Medley B-team, consisting of Nathan West, Brandon Pham, Marcus Montoya, and Jaden Mendoza, made waves in the console heat, finishing in 16th place, showcasing their remarkable talent.

With the fourth and final day of the SCIAC Championship set to take place tomorrow, the University of La Verne Leopards are eager to take on the challenge. Stay tuned for more performances from the Leopards Swimming and Diving Team tomorrow.
