Leopards Make Splash In Tri-Meet

Despite a sudden change in venue, the University of La Verne women's swimming and diving team managed a solid outing at the tri-meet with Azusa Pacific and Biola at home.

Originally scheduled as a home meet for Azusa Pacific, the site was changed to La Verne Aquatic Center because of a fire at the Cougars’ home pool late in the week.

In other action, freshman Shelby Broyles earned a fourth-place effort in the 1650 freestyle event, completing her race in 20:19.59.
