FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Catalina Lee Kim finished with one of the nation's top times in the 60 meter hurdles, the men's 4x400 meter relay team took first, and the University of La Verne track and field teams turned in an impressive performance at the Mountain T's Invitational hosted by Northern Arizona University.
On the men's side, the team of Patrick Cornwell, Jeffrey Ouk, Terrence Robinson, and Joshua Francis won the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3.23.65.
Andrew Carrasco set a personal record in the weight throw, finishing fourth with a distance of 16.06 meters.
Kyle Ambat was the top finisher in the triple jump, winning with a jump of 13.45 meters. Ambat also finished seventh in the long jump (6.57 meters).
In the 200 meter dash, Joshua Francis finished third with a time of 22.28.
Nathan Bradley took seventh in the 60 meter hurdles, clocking in with a personal record of 9.01.
Hunter Powers finished fourth in the heptathlon with 3,526 points with his best individual event coming in the shot put where he finished with the top throw at 11.14 meters.
Next Meet: The Leopards return to action on Saturday, February 17 when the head down the road to compete at the Pomona-Pitzer All Comers meet.
