LA VERNE, CA — Madison Maynes has been tabbed as the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Specialist of the Week the SCIAC office announced Monday.
Maynes did it all for the Leopards, leading the squad to a 5-0 week where the Leopards won 15 of 16 sets. The setter posted 153 assists, 55 digs, 18 kills, eight aces, and five blocks. La Verne scored a SCIAC win over Pomona-Pitzer and went 4-0 at the annual Leopards Invitational with wins over DeSales, UC Santa Cruz, Nazareth, and UMass Boston.
The Leopards host the Cal Lutheran Regals tomorrow at 7 p.m.
