LA VERNE, CA — The University of La Verne men's basketball team fell at home to first place Pomona-Pitzer 89-46 Saturday evening in The Tents.
Max Karim led the Leopards with a big defensive effort. The senior totaled six points and four rebounds. Freshman Sinai Enoch finished with nine points. Ten different Leopards scored in the game.
The Sagehens were led by Micah Elan's 16 points.
Season Impact
La Verne falls to 1-10 overall and 0-3 in the SCIAC. The Sagehens improve to 11-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play and remain in a tie for first play in the SCIAC.
Next Game
The Leopards return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Pasadena to face Caltech at 7 p.m.
