Riverside, California - The University of La Verne's men's golf team traveled to Riverside, California to compete in "The Joust" Hosted by California Baptist University. The tournament was held this week at Goose Creek Golf Club. The Leopards competed in a fifteen team field which consisted of teams from both the NCAA Division I and Division II levels. Head coach Chris Krich was very pleased with his teams' effort and is looking to build off of the performance going forward. "It was great to see our players battle back in tough conditions against a field of Division 1 and 2 competition as we shot the lowest score in the third and final round. Zane Mularski led the way shooting a two under 69 during the third round to move us up the leader board. Both Jake Littlejohn and Connor Dunlop had consistent days and shot well in this tough field of participants. This tournament was just what we needed to help us get ready for SCIAC 1 this weekend up in Ventura."

The Leopards will be competing at Olivas Links Golf Course in Ventura, California for SCIAC 1 February 25th - 27th.
