Prevedello Earns Academic All-District Honors

LA VERNE, CA — Elizabeth Prevedello has been selected to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Division III Women's Cross Country/Track and Field Academic All-District 8 team in a vote by the district's sports information directors.

The CoSIDA Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom.

Last year, Prevedello put together one of the best debut seasons ever for a Leopard. The Azusa Pacific transfer made her way to the national stage earning All-American honors in the heptathlon with a sixth-place finish at the 2019 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships while setting a La Verne record in the event with 4,522 points.

The graduate student also earned 2019 Outdoor All-West Region honors in the long jump and heptathlon and 2019 Indoor All-West Region accolades in the high jump, long jump, pentathlon, 60m hurdles, and distance medley relay. Prevedello's five indoor All-Region accolades were the most by any female athlete in the nation in 2019. At the 2019 SCIAC Championships, she earned All-SCIAC honors in the long jump and 4x400m relay while finishing third in both events.

Academically, Prevedello earned a spot on the 2019 United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic team. Prevedello finished her undergraduate career with a cumulative 3.91 GPA and is currently pursuing an MBA with a GPA of 3.88.

With this honor, Prevedello will be eligible to earn a spot in the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team that will be announced later this month.
