LA VERNE, Calif. — Marisa Rojo has been named SCIAC Volleyball Athlete of the Week, the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced Monday afternoon.

Rojo led the No. 15 Leopards to three straight wins over the week. The senior finished with 10 kills and 6 digs in a sweep over Chapman and added 13 kills and 11 digs in a road win at Pomona-Pitzer. She finished the week with 10 kills and eight digs in a 3-0 win at home against Occidental. 

Rojo also finished the week with nine assists and three total blocks.

The Leopards sit in first place in the SCIAC with a 6-1 conference record and 12-2 overall record.

Next Game: The Leopards travel to Whittier College tomorrow to face the Poets at 7 p.m.
