The University of La Verne track and field team will be participating in invitationals on both sides of the country this weekend.
The Leopards will have groups participating in the Whitworth Invitational in Spokane, Washington and in Boston, Massachusetts at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational. The opportunity to compete against the top competition across the country will be a great measuring stick for the Leopards as the seek to attain a SCIAC Championship during this 2023 season. The sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers and throwers will be competing in Spokane while the endurance group will be competing in Boston.
The Whitworth Invitational and the Valentine Invitational present the opportunity for the group to state its claim on the NCAA qualifying list.
