GREENSBORO, N.C. — Conner Davis finished round three strong to remain in the top-15 after day three of the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships.
Davis started the day on the 10th hole and opened with back-to-back bogeys. He parred the next five holes before bogeying the 17th and parring the 18th.
Similarly to his performance yesterday, Davis responded well over his final nine holes shooting a 35 on the front nine with birdies on the second and eighth holes to finish the round at plus-two, 74.
Davis' three-day total stands at plus-two, 218 (74, 70, 74), placing him in a five-way tie for 15th place and just two strokes outside of the top-10.
Brian Peccie from Washington & Lee leads the field with a card of minus-7, 209. Methodist University has a 10-stroke lead in the team competition with a total score of minus-1, 863.
