LA VERNE, Calif. — Due to expected high temperatures, kickoff for the University of La Verne men's soccer team's SCIAC match against Whittier on Saturday has been moved up to 11 a.m.
The game was originally scheduled for 1 p.m.
"We concluded that it is in the best interest of both school's student-athletes to move the start time to earlier in the day when the field temperatures are cooler," La Verne athletics director Julie Kline said.
