SCIAC Swim and Dive Championships Day 2

Today was day two of the SCIAC Swimming and Diving Championships hosted by Occidental College at the Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool. The University of La Verne men's team is currently in fifth place with a score of 215.5.

Marc Okimura placed third in the 100-yard breaststroke finals, coming in at 57.61.

The 200-yard medley relay team, Daniel Hargis, Okimura, Matthew Johnson and Andrew Mackay, came in fourth place in the finals, with a time of 1:38.94.

Mark Wilson made it to the finals for the 400-yard IM, placing sixth with a time of 4:17.65.

Adam Gray placed sixth in the 3-meter dive finals followed by teammate Jacob Tittl who placed seventh.

The 800-yard freestyle relay team, Mackay, John Roche, Wilson and Hargis, placed seventh, coming in at 7:23.44.
The SCIAC Championships will continue tomorrow. The preliminaries start at 10AM and the finals start at 5PM.
