LA VERNE, CA - The Leopards finished in ninth place with 15.5 points after the second and final day of the SCIAC Track & Field Championships. There were 14 finals on Sunday - all 10 events on the track along with four field events. Seven Leos scored on the second day. Mira Juncaj scored in three different events. She was the team's only podium (top 3) finisher as she was third in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 14.94. She also placed sixth in the triple jump with a season best mark of 34-9.75 and led off the eighth place 4 x 400 meter relay team that ran a season best 4:31.25. Ha'ani Untalan, Devin Spreeman and Kelly Sanchez were the other three members of the 4 x 400. Jazzlyn Johnson, Untalan, Sanchez and Dawson Bell finished seventh in the 4 x 100 meter relay with a time of 50.77. Alyssa Galaviz finished eighth in the shot put with a season best mark of 34-1.25.
