CLAREMONT, Calif. — Emily Mena scored twice, but the Leopards fell to the top-ranked Sagehens 14-4 Saturday.
Jassmine Kezman and Jasmine Bustamante each added a goal.
Victoria Mezack finished with an assist. Mena also added a steal.
Shelby Garcia recorded seven saves.
The Leopards fall to 4-9 overall and 2-4 in SCIAC play. The Sagehens improve to 9-9 overall and 4-0 in the conference.
Next Game: The Leopards play a doubleheader at home next Wednesday. La Verne opens up with an 11 a.m. game against Washington and Jefferson then host the Occidental College Tigers at 4 p.m.
