The University of La Verne baseball program will host the Eighth Annual Hacker Classic Golf Tournament on Friday, January 29 at Sierra Lakes Golf Club in Fontana.

The tournament is a four-person, scramble format and is limited to 144 golfers.  The $130 cost for the event includes green fees, cart, a tee prize package, doors prizes, refreshments, and a sit-down dinner. You may register either as a foursome (guaranteeing your pairing), a partial group, or as an individual (allowing to partner into a foursome) for the tournament.

Check-in for the event begins at 10:30 am, followed by a shotgun start for the tournament at noon.  The evening program consists of a social hour followed by the dinner, an awards ceremony and an auction.

The Hacker Classic marks the official kickoff to the 2010 Leopard baseball season.  The Leopards will hold their annual Alumni Game the following day on Saturday, January 30 at Ben Hines Field.
