The University of La Verne baseball team traveled to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps for a SCIAC match-up, bringing in a 10-3 record and an undefeated mark in conference play. The first inning of play would see both teams go scoreless but the Leopards would get on the board in the second inning when Cameron Slessor doubled, resulting in a score by Brandon Shiota. Drew Reddick would hit a home run in the third inning giving the Leopards a 2-1 lead after three innings of play. Chase Siffert and Christian Killian would both single in the fourth inning, while Malachai Francois and Killian would both score for the Leopards. Anthony Salcedo would still home for another Leopard score in the inning. The sixth inning would see the Leopards rally off six scored runs, giving them an 11-1 lead. The dominance of the Leopards lead to an eight-inning victory as they would defeat Claremont-Mudd-Scripps by a final score of 11-1. Pitcher Sean Holt had five strikeouts on the day and Chase Siffert Tanner Siffert and Cameron Slessor each had two RBIs on the day. The victory brought the Leopards' record to 11-3 and 4-0 in SCIAC play.
