LA VERNE, CA — Jarid Taylor and Sinai Enoch each dropped 17 points but the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Stags pulled away late to defeat the University of La Verne men's basketball team 66-56.
Taylor recorded his third double-double of the season in his final game inside The Tents. The Rialto native grabbed 11 boards, 10 on the defensive end, to go with a pair of assists and a steal.
Enoch added six rebounds to his scoring effort and dished out a team-high four assists.
The Stags were led by Jeremy Horn's 18 points and Kele Mkpado 10 points off the bench.
Senior Day
The Leopards honored Taylor in a brief pregame ceremony.
Next Game
The Leopards play their final game of the season next Tuesday when they travel to Redlands for a 7 p.m. tip-off.
