Claremont, California - The University of La Verne women's track and field team competed in the SCIAC Multi-Dual #2 at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps this past weekend, having a very successful day on the track. Competing in various events, the Leopards performed at a high level, having many top-ten finishes, including top one through three finishes. The men's 4x100 meter relay team ( Ivan Estrada, Dante Carter, Zachary Reid, and Kenneth Davis) finished second in the race. TK Berhe, Jared Albaugh and Jose Reyes each finished eighth, ninth and tenth respectfully in the men's 1500 meter run. Efren Martin finished ninth in the 300m steeplechase. Dante Carter finished fifth in the men's 100-meter dash while Ivan Estrada and Jayden Figueroa finished fourth and sixth in the 400-meter dash. Elijah Martinez finished fourth in the 400-meter hurdles. David Lara finished third in the men's javelin throw with 42.72m. On the day the men finished with Dual Meet Scores of 71.00 and 66.00

The Leopards will next be competing at Whittier College, April 7th in a SCIAC matchup.
