University Of La Verne Assistant Track Coach To Represent Native Country Canada At The NACAC Combined Events Championships

Ottawa, Canada - University of La Verne assistant track coach Rostam Turner has been selected to represent his native Canada at the NACAC (North America, Central America and Caribbean) Combined Events Championships. He will be participating in the decathalon as he represents Canada. University of La Verne head coach Kevin Reid is very excited about a member of his staff representing not only his native country, but also the University of La Verne. "I am very excited about Rostam being named to the Canadian national team for the NACAC Combined Events Championships. Here at La Verne, he does an outstanding job coaching our crew of jumpers, as well as adding his expertise in other events when necessary. The balance of his coaching and his training is excellent, as he gets in the work that he needs as a international class Decathlete, and at the same time brings the same energy and enthusiasm to our current group of Leo's. We are excited about this opportunity he has been given."

The NACAC Combined Events Championships will take place in Ontario, Canada May 14-15, 2022. Information about the championships can be found here https://nacacottawa22.com/
