COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — The University of La Verne swimming and diving teams have been selected as Scholar All-America squads the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced.

The Leopards join 713 teams from 460 institutions from across all divisions on the NCAA as well as NAIA and NJCAA college and universities. In order to earn this honor, teams must have a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 or higher and maintain a roster of 12 or more student-athletes.

The La Verne women's squad earned a combined GPA of 3.44 while the men's team posted a GPA of 3.42.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
