The University of La Verne volleyball squad sits as the West Region's third ranked team heading into the final week of the regular season.
La Verne has compiled a 18-4 overall record thus far in 2012 and has posted a 14-4 in-region mark with three matches remaining in the regular season. The Leopards are ranked behind only Cal Lutheran and Chapman in their bid to earn their first NCAA Tournament berth since 2009.
The Leos are coming off a 3-0 sweep over West Region opponent UC Santa Cruz on Friday. La Verne will conclude the regular season with three conference matches, beginning with a road contest at Caltech on Tuesday night.
