Christopher Peres is an All-American

The senior picked up a spot on the D3Baseball.com Third Team All-American team the organization announced Tuesday. This is Peres' first time earning All-American distinction.

Peres picks up yet another accolade following his amazing 2019 campaign. In addition to his All-American status, the Burbank native has also racked up ABCA/Rawlings First Team All-West Region, D3baseball.com First Team All-West Region, SCIAC Athlete of the Year, Anthony P. Scafani Athlete of the Year, and First Team All-SCIAC honors this year.

The utility player posted a triple slash line of .355/.421/.529 and added 40 hits, 41 RBI, 35 runs, 13 doubles, two triples, three home runs, and 16 walks. On the mound, he finished the year with a 1.93 ERA, eight saves, four wins, and no losses. 

After being named ABCA/Rawlings First Team All-West Region earlier today, the senior still has a shot at picking up one more All-American award.
