From the Coach

"We had a great team meet today versus Cal Lutheran," said University of La Verne swim and dive Head Coach Pat Skehan. "We saw lots of improvement for both the men and women. The women's team dug themselves a pretty deep hole early in the meet but rallied back to take the win in the final event by one point."

On the men's side, sophomore Trevor Ichiki set in season personal best times in both the 1650 freestyle (17:18.72) and 500 freestyle (4:49.45). Sophomore captain Lorenzo De Leon challenged in the 100 and 200 backstroke finishing third (56.13) and fourth (2:02.37) respectively.
