Redlands, CA - The University of La Verne women's soccer team traveled to Redlands for a midweek SCIAC battle. The Leopards hit the field looking to capture a road victory to make some way in the SCIAC standings.

The Leopards were extremely aggressive in the first half of play, taking eleven total shots as a team. Defensively, La Verne controlled the half, only allowing one goal to be scored, entering intermission trailing by a score of 1-0. La Verne would attempt eight shots in second-half action but would be unable to find the net. Redlands countered by scoring two more goals in the half, defeating La Verne by a final score of 3-0.

Goalie McKenzie Maggiore had 3 saves in the game for LA Verne.

La Verne is back in action Saturday at Cal Lutheran. The game starts at 2:00 PM.
