Thousand Oaks, CA - The University of LA Verne women's soccer team battled Cal Lutheran on the road in a road SCIAC matchup this afternoon in Thousand Oaks, California.
The Leopards looked to shake up the conference standings as Cal Lutheran entered the contest with a conference record of 4-1. The Regals would score one goal in the opening minutes of the game but would not score again in the opening half.
La Verne attempted five shots in the second half of action but was unable to score, falling to Cal Lutheran 3-0. Abigail Macedo had five saves in the game for the Leopards.
La Verne is back in action at home on October 12th against Caltech. The match starts at 7:00 PM.
