Thousand Oaks, CA - The University of La Verne men's soccer team continued their road trip taking on the Kingsmen of Cal Lutheran.

Looking to bounce back into the win column, La Verne started the game with great intensity and focus. The game would be tied at zero until LEopard Owen Osagiede scored the first goal of the game at the 29:09 mark of the first half. Less than ten minutes later Cal Lutheran would answer by scoring two goals to take a 2-1 lead into the break. 

Second-half action would see the game at a standstill as neither team would score again. La Verne would attempt 9 shots but would not be able to find the net to break the game open. Time would expire as La Verne would fall by the final score of 2-1.

The Leopards will be back in action on Thursday, October 20th at Redlands. The game starts at 7:00 PM.
