The University of La Verne men’s soccer team faced the Berry Vikings at Ortmayer Stadium Saturday evening. Without many goal-scoring opportunities, it was a well-contested game ending in a 0-0 tie. 

Leopard keeper, Matthew Logan Reese, had a great game. With four saves on the night, preventing the scoring opportunities that threatened the Leopards. Offensively, the Leopards attempted six shots and held aggressive grounds against the Vikings.

It was a very card-heavy second half, with La Verne receiving the only red of the game around the 10 minutes mark. 

La Verne men's soccer will be home for two games before heading to George Fox on the 10th. Come out to support Sunday, September 4th at 7pm against Carroll, and Thursday, September 8th, against Montclair St.
